Support safe, welcoming senior living environments through housekeeping and laundry work at Sunrise Senior Living across Canada. Help maintain resident-centered care standards.
As a Room Attendant, you will clean resident suites, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and surfaces. You will also manage community laundry, maintain supplies, and communicate resident updates to supervisors. The work supports residents, families, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping duties in suites, common areas, and offices
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry
- Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- Inspect linens for wear and follow damage procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely
- Assist with resident needs and communicate updates
- Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives
