Title: Product Manager/Senior Product Manager:
The Product Manager will be part of QuorEka’s Product Management team and will be part of a high-functioning, dynamic team. This person will be responsible for translating product strategy and market requirements into world-class products working with customers, product development, internal clients, and project teams in the organization.
They will be responsible for working with the Product Management team, Marketing team, and Pre-Sales team to understand market needs and involve in product roadmap evaluation along with the Product Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product roadmap and strategy, and coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects, serving as the primary product expert and evangelist.
- Translate customer needs into product functionalities.
- Meet regularly with key customer-facing teams to collect and analyze user feedback to shape new product ideas and user requirements.
- Implement usage tracking and analyze patterns to validate new feature requirements.
- Work with the leadership team in planning the product roadmap.
- Convert ideas to prototypes and demonstrate them to key partners.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to plan and deliver features on time.
- Represent the company at product or domain-specific conferences and events.
- Act as an owner for the success of your product and hold sole authority on product certification post-beta testing.
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain functional analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Manage third-party relationships with technology partners and solutions providers.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the commodities and energy business and derivatives is mandatory.
- 10+ years of experience in product management in the CTRM/ETRM space with 3+ years in a product manager role.
- Experience in building products in the ETRM space (Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Power).
- Experience working across teams in Software Development, Quality Assurance, Consulting, and Product Support.
- Knowledge of the Canadian and US Power and Gas market.
- European and Australian Power and Gas experience is an added advantage.
- A people-friendly person with extraordinary organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Familiarity with the agile development framework is preferable.
