Qualicare Durham is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers to help enhance the quality of life for our clients. As part of the home care team, you will assist with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while ensuring client well-being. This role includes ongoing shifts and continuing education opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain client homes
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Provide medication reminders and companionship
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Ability to follow care plans and document effectively
