This Structural Engineer, P. Eng. position suits an experienced engineer with at least seven years of relevant structural engineering experience. You will support residential, commercial, and industrial projects while working with the Principal Engineer and project team. The work spans concept, detailed design, tender, and construction, using the Ontario Building Code and structural design codes for steel, wood, masonry, and concrete.
Key Responsibilities: Perform structural design and analysis for varied building projects
Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and supporting documents
Develop designs through tender documentation and construction
Conduct site visits, field reviews, inspections, and site reports
Coordinate clients, contractors, consultants, and project team members
Requirements: Professional Engineer license with Professional Engineers Ontario
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
Minimum seven years of relevant structural engineering experience
Proficiency with CAD software such as Auto CAD or Revit
Valid Ontario driver's licence and personal vehicle access
Use structural analysis, technical documentation, and project coordination skills while managing assigned responsibilities in Oxford County.
