More specifically, the Works Coordinator - Civil acts as an expert in road construction, earthworks and all other civil work required for the site. Do you have what it takes? Positive energy and... Bachelor of Engineering; + 3 years of relevant estimating experience and on-site experience is preferred; Demonstrate an interest in the renewable energy sector   Communicate easily in English and French, both orally and in writing; Excellent proficiency in MS Project, Excel and knowledge of Bid2win is an asset; Demonstrate intellectual curiosity; Excellent analytical skills, thoroughness and attention to detail; Versatility, autonomy and resourcefulness; Excellent ability to manage pressure and stress. What you will do to complete this mission successfully: With the assistance of the Project Manager, prepare the contracts required for the execution and control of the work for subcontractors, suppliers and consultants; Assist the Superintendent in the coordination of civil engineering activities; Confirm and coordinate technical requirements for civil engineering and maintenance with field teams and civil contractors; Validate the progress of the civil work and produce a follow-up report periodically; Coordinate construction in collaboration with the Civil Superintendent, Environmental Engineer, subcontractors, municipal and regional representatives, and developer/client representative Develop and implement the quality control program for civilian work; Coordinate inspections to verify the compliance of the work; Ensure the application of technical procedures to the work carried out in collaboration with the project engineer; Follow up on the purchases, receipt and inventory of materials required for the execution of the work; Actively participate in the implementation of the prevention program and support the Prevention Officer with regard to the requirements and implementation of traffic controls in collaboration with the Civil Superintendent.
