About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Solution Architect with experience in data analytics and AI to join our growing Enterprise Architecture team. This individual will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of enterprise-level AI and machine learning systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of AI and ML lifecycle management, and advocating for architecture vision and value proposition within the IT and business community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the architecture of enterprise-level AI and machine learning systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of AI and ML lifecycle management.
  • Create, update, and maintain solution and data architecture models, roadmaps, and strategies.
  • Advocate and promote architecture vision and value proposition within the IT and business community.
  • Analyze the current solution portfolio to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Lead and facilitate research and assessment of emerging trends and advancements in technologies, including machine learning frameworks and platforms.
  • Develop and evolve solution and data architecture principles, standards, and patterns to support decision-making.
  • Consult and align with Infrastructure, Security, and Data Governance teams.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in information technology.
  • Proven experience in API design and integration techniques.
  • Expertise in data modeling and data management.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn about the insurance industry.
  • Transparent and effective communication with various teams (business, telecom, infrastructure, security, audit, software engineering).
  • Proactive, organized, and a catalyst for change.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and their impact.
  • Adaptability to a constantly evolving technological environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
