Our client in the public sector is seeking a contract based Contract Management Specialist responsible for overseeing and managing contract governance within the gaming division.

This role requires expertise in contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, vendor relationship governance, and compliance reporting. The successful candidate will chair governance committees, provide oversight on contractual obligations, and ensure seamless coordination with vendors and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract management plans to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Chair the iGaming Contract Governance Committee, providing strategic guidance and oversight on contract management activities.
  • Manage and attend all Operational Management Committees, offering contract support and governance while ensuring meeting minutes are documented and distributed to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute reports for the Relationship Management Committee, outlining contract statuses, key activities, action items, and critical updates.
  • Lead the initiation, negotiation, and finalization of contract changes and amendments, coordinating efforts between vendors and legal teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation and execution of all contract-related matters in adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive contract performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in contract management, vendor governance, or procurement, preferably within iGaming or a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Experience in managing governance committees, stakeholder engagement, and compliance reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Salesforce
  • Experience with contract management systems and reporting tools is an asset.
  • Vendor Management Expertise: Experience overseeing vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
