POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Les Jardins Intérieurs residence in Saint-Lambert, a retirement home owned by Cogir Immobilier, benefits from a floral, natural and enchanting landscape. We are currently looking for a Heavy Housekeeping Attendant, part-time position, 16 hours per week, weekends only, evenings from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Evening premium applicable.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean the birdcage
  • Communicate technical problems to his immediate superior (burnt lights, peeling upholstery, broken doors, etc.)
  • Install tables and chairs for the different activities according to the requests
  • See to the maintenance of the lockers
  • See to the maintenance of windows, floors, carpets, furniture, walls, stairs, etc. (according to an established grid)
  • Strip and polish floors

Construction

  • Cleaning and performing maintenance duties
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the ground and the swimming pool
  • Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
  • Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
  • Good team player
  • Good communication
  • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
  • Sufficient knowledge of French is required for the position
