As part of the Body in White (BIW) division, you will design, build, and integrate advanced welding and joining production systems. This position requires 3-5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in automotive automation or tooling. Your expertise with 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD will be essential for developing functional mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and revise 3D CAD models and assemblies
• Design tooling and fixtures for automated projects
• Estimate design hours and plan deliverables
• Develop cost-effective mechanical solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical design principles
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
