The Geologist position requires adept strategic analysis and strong sedimentological skills. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Geology, with a preference for a Ph D, and at least two years of relevant experience. Create detailed stratigraphic frameworks while collaborating with engineers and geophysicists to optimize drilling strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and communicate stratigraphic frameworks for helium projects
• Oversee geological operations during drilling activities
• Conduct sedimentological analyses using comprehensive data
• Integrate multidimensional data into basin-scale evaluations
• Prepare technical reports and mapping products for decision-making
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Geology; Ph D preferred
• Minimum 2 years of geological interpretation experience
• Expertise in Cambrian stratigraphy within Western Canada
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
