Bilingual Team Lead, ITSM and Asset Management

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Team Lead, ITSM and Asset Management for a permanent fulltime position with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) Security Requirement Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Secret Clearance. Key Tasks Support the development and optimization of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management. Manage the LCM Partner Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, refresh planning, deployment, tracking, inventory and disposal of hardware and software assets. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery meets business needs. Monitor performance metrics and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence. Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and security requirements related to IT assets. Key Qualifications Leadership in ITSM & Asset Management: Proven experience overseeing ITSM and IT Asset Management functions, driving process optimization, lifecycle management, and ensuring CMDB accuracy. ITIL Framework & ITSM Tools Expertise: Strong understanding of ITIL best practices with hands-on experience using platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management and ITSM implementation experience. Microsoft Environment Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Azure, M365, and Intune to support IT operations, asset tracking, and system integrations Qualifications Proven experience in ITSM and asset management roles, with leadership responsibilities. Strong understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management). Strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite of products, including Azure, M365 and Intune Experience with asset management systems and CMDB maintenance. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. ITIL certification and experience with audit/compliance processes are highly desirable. Formal Education and/or Certification(s) and Experience: Minimum: college diploma in computer science with five years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent Preferred: University degree in the above fields and/or additional training, such as Microsoft certification and/or specific education in the areas of network configuration, exchange servers, virtualization and hardware/software Asset Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent) About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Thank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek Staffing Solutions has worked to become a trusted partner with our consultants and customers.
