The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in driving business growth, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. Comprehensive health and dental benefits Performance-based bonus Paid vacation Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for highway maintenance and infrastructure projects, including bridge and pavement marking operations Develop and execute business plans aligned with corporate goals and performance metrics Ensure compliance with contract obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs) Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, Indigenous communities, and industry stakeholders Lead the development and implementation of seasonal operational plans Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Manage workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession strategies Oversee capital planning, equipment utilization, and facility maintenance Represent the organization at industry events, community engagements, and stakeholder meetings Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in highway maintenance, heavy civil construction, or a related field Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or equivalent experience Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and operational planning Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and relationship management In-depth knowledge of highway maintenance practices, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects and contracts Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems such as GPS/AVLS and ERP platforms Familiarity with provincial highway maintenance and P3 contracts is a strong asset Understanding of employment legislation and experience in managing compliance Apply today through Hays Recruitment to explore this exciting leadership opportunity.
