Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled MAC Support for an exciting opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients, based in Vancouver, BC.Position: MAC SupportLocation: Vancouver, BC Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mac Support Engineer to provide technical support for macOS devices, Apple hardware, and related enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with macOS environments, MDM tools, security configurations, and end-user support. This role ensures smooth operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all Mac-based systems across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for macOS devices, MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, and Apple peripherals.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to macOS, Apple hardware, software applications, network connectivity, and user account problems.Install, configure, and update macOS systems, applications, and security patches.Manage and administer MDM/EMM tools (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Intune, Workspace ONE, etc.) for device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement.Support enterprise applications including Microsoft Office for Mac, VPN clients, SSO integrations, and productivity tools.Assist with onboarding/offboarding: device provisioning, user account setup, and access configuration.Maintain and enforce security standards, including encryption (FileVault), password policies, certificates, and compliance checks.Perform root-cause analysis, document resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.Collaborate with network, security, and Windows support teams for cross-platform coordination.Track and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).Manage Apple device inventory, procurement requests, and lifecycle management.Required Skills & Qualifications2–5+ years of experience in Mac Support / macOS Engineering / Apple Device Management.Strong technical knowledge of macOS, Apple hardware, and Apple ecosystem components.Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Mosyle, Intune, or similar).Understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).Familiarity with Bash/zsh command-line usage and basic scripting for automation.Experience supporting SaaS tools (Google Workspace, O365, Okta, Duo, Zoom, Slack, etc.).Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
