We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for the Electrical Vehicle power unit integration team. Your main mandate will be developing and designing HV powertrain components and integrating them in different vehicles. You understand power electronic design, Power converters, grounding, isolation, heat management, EM radiation and shielding, EV charging technologies, BMS and battery technologies, this position is yours.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Being responsible for the technical compliance of the item internally and the main BRP technical  contact for the supplier
Define the priorities for the electrical validation and test technicians/team during the item's validation and commissioning phase and identify  the necessary test during internal vehicle level physical testing phase
Follow up the ITEM up to  the  assembly line  for the end of line  and assembly sequence and identify both  risks and solutions for the assembly of the item on  the vehicle
Being  responsible for the item technical requirement  specification, the item's  validation  plan and    technical  maturity  reporting
Participation to  the internal  DFMA analysis both for the ITEM, the vehicle and the  assembly
Organizing  the internal follow up of the project and the technical  follow up  with the supplier
Managing the internal commissioning and validation of the Item
Participation to the overall development of the team portfolio through patents and of new  developpement ideas
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
You are rigorous and well organized, You have a mind for innovation and EV awareness;
You have the ability to work in a project start-up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined;
You detain a Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, or demonstrate exceptional skill in the relevant fields;
You have experience with electrical simulation tools, 3D electrical/electromagnetic simulations, electrical drawing tools including See Electrical, Capital Harness;
You have a minimum of 1 to 2 year of relevant experience in power electronics design, electrical/ electronic simulation and/or EMC design, experience with  R136, R10, J1772 and/or IEC 61581 is a plus;
You have good knowledge of CAN communication protocols; EVSE to OBC communications;
You master French and English (written and spoken);
You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance.
