Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a net‑new cyber risk assessment integration project with a large insurance client. This role is critical to vendor proof‑of‑concept initiatives, where the analyst will document business requirements, translate technical details into functional deliverables, and ensure data quality across complex integrations.The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to capture requirements, design integration flows, and produce technical artefacts such as sequence diagrams and data mapping tables. They will define integration scenarios, develop test cases, and validate data flows between internal systems and third‑party platforms to ensure compliance with security standards.This position requires close coordination with a 5‑member team including developers, solution architects and external vendors. The analyst will also manage change requests, support production rollouts, and troubleshoot integration issues. By combining strong requirements engineering expertise with insurance and cybersecurity domain knowledge, the BSA will play a pivotal role in guiding the project from proof‑of‑concept to implementation. This is a 6‑month contract, with the expectation of being in office 2 days per week in Calgary or Toronto. Required Skills:7+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience, preferably with prior work on integration projects or proof‑of‑concept initiativesBackground in commercial insuranceExposure to cybersecurity or cyber insurance conceptsHands‑on experience supporting developers or architects in designing API integrationsFamiliarity with data mapping techniques (JSON, XML, SQL) and integration between internal systems and third‑party platformsDemonstrated ability to document comprehensive business requirements for cyber risk assessment integrations
