In this role, you will be responsible for building and testing electronics and wiring subassemblies used in precision instrumentation and laser systems. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to assemble, wire, and verify components following detailed schematics and work instructions.Key responsibilities:·        Assemble and wire electronic subassemblies, including connectors, cables, PCBs, and control modules.·        Mount and secure subassemblies into chassis and enclosures according to mechanical drawings.·        Perform soldering (through-hole and surface-mount) and rework as needed.·        Follow detailed wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and standard operating procedures.·        Conduct functional and continuity tests using basic test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, etc.)·        Identify and report issues during assembly and testing.·        Maintain a clean and organized workbench and follow ESD-safe handling practices.Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve assembly issuesRequired qualifications:·        College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.·        Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.·        Skilled in crimping, soldering, cable routing, and connector assembly.·        Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.·        Good communication and teamwork skills.Preferred qualifications:·        1–3 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly.·        Proficiency with multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes and basic test equipment.WaveRyde Instruments offers a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as an exciting, challenging and supportive work atmosphere.
