About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescribing and Dispensing Medication: Prepare and dispense drugs according to prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
  • Patient Assessment and Education: Assess new and repeat prescriptions, consistently apply medication management principles, educate patients on medication use, and monitor patient progress.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting healthy living and immunization programs.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer concerns and complaints, communicating effectively with customers and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia in good standing, current CPR certification valid in British Columbia, Drug Administration by Injection (asset), and ISTM (asset).
