As a Canada’s Best Managed Company and Gold Seal Certified organization, we are trusted to deliver complex, high-stakes projects for clients who demand excellence.The OpportunityThis is a senior leadership role for an experienced project manager who thrives in complex, compliance-driven construction environments.Reporting to the Regional Director, Nova Scotia, you will lead multidisciplinary teams including project coordinators, engineers, superintendents, and self-perform crews, while overseeing projects that require exceptional planning, documentation, safety discipline, and stakeholder coordination.In this capacity you’ll lead teams, manage risk and deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and accountability.Why This Role Is DifferentUsing procurement models including Design-Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting, you’ll manage work where planning rigor, constructability and execution excellence truly matter.What We’re Specifically Looking ForWe are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following environments:Department of National Defence (DND) projectsHealthcare or highly regulated institutional facilitiesSecure, operational, or occupied buildingsMulti-residentialLight Industrial Experience navigating security clearances, controlled sites, detailed reporting requirements, and multiple stakeholder layers is a strong asset.Key ResponsibilitiesLead with safety first. Champion a culture where safety is embedded in planning, execution, and daily decision-making, working closely with Safety Advisors to exceed regulatory and internal standards.Deliver client confidence. Maintain strong, transparent relationships with clients throughout the full project lifecycle, particularly in regulated or security-sensitive environments.Build and lead teams. Mentor and develop project staff while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.Own project delivery. Oversee schedules, budgets, contracts, and execution strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.Manage complexity. Coordinate schedules using Microsoft Project; manage financial and progress reporting with precision.Support pursuits. Collaborate with Estimating, Pre-Construction, and Business Development teams to shape winning strategies and execution plans.Uphold standards. Execute all work in alignment with the Lindsay Business Management System, holding teams accountable to consistent, high standards.Contract excellence.
