Client OverviewOur client is a leading organization in the financial and digital experience space, seeking a Visual Designer to support ongoing rebranding and design system initiatives. This 6-month hybrid contract (with possibility of extension) offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to enterprise-level digital design projects.Job OverviewThe Visual Designer will apply user-centered design principles to create accessible, scalable, and visually compelling interfaces across digital platforms. The ideal candidate has strong technical proficiency, deep experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to translate strategic direction into consistent, on-brand design components.ResponsibilitiesDesign and refine UI components and libraries within established design systemsConduct page audits, competitor analyses, and create mockups and visual concepts to support project goalsCollaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation of designs, focusing on accessibility, CSS, and HTML alignmentUtilize CMS platforms such as AEM, Contentful, or WordPress for design and content integrationParticipate in rebranding initiatives, preparing and presenting mood boards and design directions to stakeholdersMaintain consistency across digital products through scalable design processes and best practicesCommunicate effectively with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure design integrity and usabilityQualifications5–7 years of experience in visual, UI, or digital design with a focus on user-centered design principlesStrong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.)Experience conducting page audits, competitor analyses, and developing high-fidelity mockupsWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and accessibility standardsExperience with CMS tools such as AEM, Contentful, or WordPressProven experience building and maintaining design systems and component librariesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting creative conceptsPrevious experience in the banking or financial industry is an assetHybrid role: in-office every Wednesday and third Friday of each month
