We’re seeking a strategic Grant Manager to secure funding that amplifies our impact across Canada.Role SnapshotAs our Grant Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our funding pipeline, identifying opportunities and crafting proposals that turn community needs into actionable support. Your work will directly fuel programs that uplift vulnerable families, refugees, and youth.What You’ll DoGrant Strategy: Research and prioritize government, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities aligned with MFBCS’s mission.Proposal Development: Write compelling grant applications, tailoring narratives to funder priorities and ensuring compliance with guidelines.Partnership Coordination: Collaborate with program teams to design budgets, measure outcomes, and gather impact data for reporting.Compliance & Relationships: Track deadlines, submit timely reports, and nurture relationships with funders to sustain long-term support.Knowledge Leadership: Stay updated on Canadian funding trends, CRA requirements, and best practices in nonprofit grant writing.What You BringExperience: 3+ years in grant writing, nonprofit fundraising, or program development, with a proven track record of securing grants.Skills:Exceptional writing and storytelling skills (samples required).Strong project management—able to juggle multiple proposals and deadlines.Financial literacy to align budgets with program goals.Knowledge:Understanding of Canadian charitable funding (CRA compliance, Imagine Canada standards).Familiarity with Muslim-led initiatives and faith-based funding landscapes (preferred).Bonus Assets:Bilingualism (French or other languages).Experience with donor management software (e.g., Fluxx, GrantConnect).Why Join Us?Impact: Your proposals will directly enable life-changing programs.Autonomy: Lead grant strategy with the support of a collaborative team.Growth: Expand your expertise in Canada’s nonprofit funding ecosystem.Apply Today
