In addition to project delivery, all roles contribute to the success of AFPA’s existing programs, member services, and broader initiatives.Status: Open until filledProject Manager (.75 - Full-Time, Term)Location: Alberta (Remote/hybrid; province-wide travel required)Term: 24–30 months (with potential extension subject to funding)Salary Range: $95,000 – $120,000 annuallyThe PM will lead the day-to-day delivery of this large, publicly funded ecosystem and industry-support project supported by AFPA’s General Manager.Key Responsibilities• Manage workplan, timelines, promotions, milestones, and deliverables.• Oversee training, budgets, claims, contracts, and reporting.• Supervise Navigators and consultants.• Lead intake, eligibility screening, approvals, and performance tracking.• Maintain KPIs, dashboards, CRM records, and audit-ready documentation.• Liaise with funders, industry, government partners, advisory committees, and AFPA leadership.• Support risk management, evaluations, impact reporting, and continuous improvement.• Coordinate with AFPA Team to support existing programs, initiatives, and membership priorities.Qualifications – Alberta Ecosystem & Sector Knowledge• In-depth understanding of food and beverage manufacturing operations within Alberta, including SME production environments and capital constraints.• Experience supporting Alberta-based processors with technology adoption, automation, digitization, and productivity improvements.• Knowledge of Alberta’s innovation and technology ecosystem, including funding programs, vendors, and applied technology partners.• Familiarity with supply chains, labour challenges, and operational realities facing Alberta processors.AFPA is committed to inclusive hiring and encourages applications from women, newcomers, youth, and candidates from diverse backgrounds.
