We believe the best decisions are made by people who understand what actually happens in stores — and we move quickly, collaboratively, and with intention.As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re continuing to build the systems, leadership, and operational discipline required to scale — while protecting the culture, energy, and community connection that got us here.Director of Operations - The RoleWe are hiring a Director of Operations – Canada to lead and scale day-to-day operations across corporate and franchised HEAL locations nationwide.This role owns operational performance, execution, and consistency across the network — ensuring stores are profitable, compliant, and set up to scale.You will lead and manage a growing team of Business Development Managers across Canada and work closely with founders and cross-functional leaders to execute HEAL’s growth strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesNational Operations, Performance & StandardsOwn operational performance across all Canadian HEAL locations (corporate + franchise)Drive productivity improvements across labour efficiency, speed of service, throughput, and AUVSet, maintain, and enforce operational standards, SOPs, and compliance systemsAnalyze store-level performance data and translate insights into clear action plansPartner with founders and senior leadership on national operational strategyCorporate & Franchise OperationsOversee day-to-day performance of both corporate-owned and franchised locationsAct as a trusted operational partner to franchisees and corporate store leadersEnsure adherence to brand standards, food safety, and guest experience expectationsSupport underperforming locations with structured improvement and recovery plansTeam Leadership & Field ExecutionLead, coach, and develop Business Development Managers across regionsBuild scalable field team structures as the network growsEstablish clear KPIs, reporting rhythms, and accountability frameworksMaintain a strong field presence and connection to store-level executionMenu Rollouts & System ExecutionLead execution of new menu launches, LTOs, and system-wide initiativesEnsure stores are operationally ready through training, tools, and communicationPartner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teamsNew Store Openings & ExpansionOversee operational readiness for all new store openingsPartner with the Manager of Training to plan, develop, and deploy training assetsExecute against the new store opening pipeline with consistent launch standardsSupport post-opening stabilization and performance ramp-upSystems & ScaleContinuously improve operational systems, tools, and processesHelp prepare HEAL for continued national and international expansionEnsure the operating platform scales without losing consistency or cultureWho You AreYou are a hands-on, people-first operator who thrives in fast-growing, founder-led environments and knows how to balance standards with relationships.You likely have:7–10+ years of multi-unit operations experience (QSR, café, franchise, or hospitality)Experience overseeing both corporate and franchised locationsProven leadership experience managing regional or field-based teamsExperience supporting new store openings and expansionStrong understanding of unit economics, labour models, and operational KPIsExperience leading menu rollouts or system-wide initiativesYou are:Highly organized, decisive, and accountableComfortable holding standards while building trustData-driven, but pragmaticEnergized by growth, change, and scaleAligned with wellness-driven, modern hospitality brandsCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 CAD, based on experiencePerformance Bonus: Annual bonus tied to operational and company KPIsCar Allowance: Monthly vehicle allowanceBenefits: Health, dental, and wellness benefits availableGrowth Opportunity: Long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding brand How to ApplySend your resume and a short note on why you’re excited about HEAL to: jesse@healwellness.ca
