So why not join us at FairPlay and be part of something bigger…What we are looking for:We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Java as the primary technologies. This role demands strong expertise in cloud deployment with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), robust API design and integration, and familiarity with PHP as an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven commercial experience in full stack software development.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy full stack web applications using React for front-end and Java (Spring Boot preferred) for backend services.Design and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs as required.Maintain and improve existing systems, refactoring code as needed.Utilize Google Cloud Platform services for hosting, scaling, and managing cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with the product team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.Required Skills and Experience5+ years of commercial full stack development experience.Strong proficiency in React and its core principles, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.Expert in Java development, particularly with frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployment.Solid experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with relational and no relational databases.Good working knowledge of version control systems (Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Able to clearly articulate goals, expectations, and feedback to team members.Able to build strong relationships and resolve conflicts constructivelyPreferred (Plus)Experience with PHP and PHP frameworks ( APi Platform - Symfony).Exposure to automated testing frameworks and TDD/BDD practices.Experience working in remote or distributed teams.What you’ll get back from us:A competitive benefits and salary package as well as bonus considerationRemote-working supported by a trusted and experienced infrastructureThe opportunity to work in a sports-related and technology focused companyBenefits:Dental & Extended Health CareLife InsurancePaid Time OffWork from HomeRequirements:Language: English (required)Schedule: Monday to FridayFrench: Not requiredReady to join our team?
