Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Company Overview:

TJ2H and Associates Limited is a specialized General Contractor seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction industry finance and be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for senior management.

Job Description:

The Financial Controller will assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance at the organization, including:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow tables.
  • Accounting Analysis: Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting analysis, identifying and correcting variances.
  • Cash Management: Assist in managing cash flow, ensuring timely payment of bills and receipts of payments.
  • Expense and Supplier Management: Supervise expense and supplier accounts, monitoring project costs and revenues against budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the Financial Controller must possess:

  • Functional Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French (or other languages as required).
  • Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in construction industry finance or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications: CPA or CPA candidate status.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Procore, QBO, and Excel.
