Print Services Specialist

Osler is seeking a skilled Print Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Print Services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality printing services to our firm members.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain various printing devices and office equipment, including photocopiers, binding units, and electronic folders/drills.
- Perform digital printing jobs, including checking document size and format, entering print requirements into the computer-based digital print system, and running print jobs.
- Set priorities for printing jobs based on client needs, volume of work, and time constraints, and communicate with clients regarding any probable delays.
- Perform daily and routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and inventory and maintain records of supplies on-hand.
- Abide by firm policies, including the policy on confidentiality, and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- High school diploma plus one year of print shop or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as ability to learn basic skills in Quark, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Technical aptitude, including ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot print shop equipment.
- Customer service orientation, including interpersonal skills and ability to use judgment and tact in communications.
