We are seeking a qualified Elementary LTO Teaching Position candidate to join our team at the Durham District School Board.

Job Type: Long Term Occasional Teacher

Subject: Primary

FTE: 0.2 (Day 1 & 4 Afternoons)

Grade(s)/Assignments: Primary Coverage

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students in a Primary setting. This includes:

  1. Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  2. Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to support student learning

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  1. Hold an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Primary qualification
  2. Have experience working with students in a Primary setting
  3. Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues
