Job Summary

Wee Watch is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children.
  • Establish a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a sense of belonging and community among children, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive approach to child care and education.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including immunization records, tuberculosis tests, and vulnerable sector checks.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on child development and education.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
