Fraser Valley Career Opportunity for Experienced Lawyers

We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our established Construction Practice in Abbotsford and/or Chilliwack offices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and commercial disputes, including:

  • Construction law cases related to bonds, contaminated sites, delay claims, deficiency claims, insurance coverage, liens, leaky buildings and priority disputes.
  • Insolvency matters such as secured and unsecured realizations, receiverships, foreclosures, CCAA matters, lease defaults, bankruptcy, breach of trust and fraud.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented lawyer to work with a reputable firm in the Fraser Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Representing clients in complex construction and commercial disputes.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support case development and strategy.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

What We Offer

Baker Newby offers a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
