Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including food safety and presentation.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, including balance sheets and cash reports.
- Staff Management
- Hire and train food service staff, including kitchen staff and servers.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure high-quality service and food preparation.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Language
- Fluent in English.
- Work Environment
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
