At David Colin Contracting, we are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work independently to prepare layouts, measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials. The successful candidate will also have experience in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. Additionally, they will be able to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the trade and be able to work 40 hours per week. The language of work will be English. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
* Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

* Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
* Supervise other workers
* Estimate costs and materials

**Requirements:**

* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
* Permanent employment
* English as the language of work
* 40 hours per week
