Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced crew members.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, often in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations, including outdoors.
