Job Title: Plumber Helper

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Helper to join our team at 2188836 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist plumbers in various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist plumbers in loading and unloading materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction or a related field.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and tools.
