About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Junior Kindergarten. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our junior kindergarten program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Early Childhood Educators: Collaborate with our experienced educators to develop and implement engaging programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support Childcare Activities: Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development, as well as supporting the preparation of reports and other documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Program Support: Assist in the preparation of snacks, arranging rooms and furniture for meals and rest periods, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of our junior kindergarten program.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Work Setting: Childcare centre
