About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Electronic Arts Inc. in a key role focused on combating toxicity and improving the gameplay experience for millions of players across our titles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with game teams and data science talent to identify and address toxicity issues in our games.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve the player experience, leveraging expertise in NLP, computer vision, and other relevant areas.
  • Work closely with our Lead Data Scientist to generalize products and solutions across titles, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets, utilizing AWS, Sagemaker, GCP, and other relevant tools.
  • Communicate complex data science projects and products to stakeholders, including those with non-technical backgrounds.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical modeling and data engineering.
  • Ph.D./Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hive/Hadoop, and AWS/GCP.
What We Offer

Electronic Arts Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $133,400 - $193,200 CAN Annually, depending on location. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, paid parental leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan.
