We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer to join our team at Astra North Infoteck Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop APIs using IBM API Connect and IBM Datapower
  • Provide solutions for infrastructure, tools, and facilities to enable users to create, manage, and stage APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with other systems
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of integration tools, including IBM Datapower and IBM API Connect
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API development

Requirements:

  • 7-8 years of work experience in API development and integration
  • Deep understanding of API design, development, and deployment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong knowledge of OAuth and other authentication protocols
  • Experience with deployment tools, such as Ansible and Artifactory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with YAML and Swagger files
  • Knowledge of AAA policy and MPG/WSP creation in Datapower
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
