About the Position

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team at Timberlea Public School. As a Grade 3 teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Classroom Management

  • Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage active participation and respect among students.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates.

Professional Development

  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with curriculum and teaching methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.
  • Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience with Grade 3 program and curriculum an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
