About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and planning resident care needs in collaboration with medical professionals and care conferences.
  • Providing leadership and oversight to health services staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Administering and recording prescribed medication according to company policy and scope of practice.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete documentation and reporting.
  • Applying dressings and treatments as per physician's orders and policy.
  • Assisting with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other health care staff.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid CPR & First Aid or BLS Certification.
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
  • Advanced proficiency in the English language, with proficiency in French considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment is an asset.
