Job Description
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic and operational leadership to assigned geographic areas to meet CTG's goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with other members of the Senior Governance Team to support operational service delivery, and establish plans to improve the quality of service to our clients.
  • Nursing Thought Leadership:
    • Represent Closing the Gap Nurses with external stakeholders by promoting CTG's vision of nursing practice and best-in-class ethical client care in industry forums.
    • Lead the nursing research agenda to create and promote advance quality client care service based on evidence-based nursing practices for all nurses within CTG.
  • People Leadership:
    • Coach, develop and inspire branch leaders and team members, promoting a positive work culture.
    • Support, coach, and mentor others to succeed with change. Establish tools and processes for communicating and collaborating with direct care nurses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive leadership positions in healthcare, or home and community environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of operational experience, managing expenses in relation to revenue; analyze the ongoing financial status of the Branch to ensure that established financial goals are being achieved.
  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or College of Nurses of Nova Scotia is in good standing.
