Kitchen Helper Job Description

Joe's Pizza Shop is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with supplies and ingredients.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Help with taking orders and operating manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability, team player, dependability, flexibility, and time management skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
