LandSure Systems Ltd: Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Technology division at LandSure Systems Ltd, a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing data solutions that enable strategic business goals and ensuring that all data solutions are aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design data solutions that enable strategic business goals
  • Ensure data solutions are aligned with business needs
  • Develop robust data models and data architecture solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into data architecture frameworks
  • Lead the design of migration to a modern data architecture
  • Assess and optimize existing data models to improve performance, scalability, data integrity, security, accessibility, and interoperability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data modeling, data architecture standards, principles, and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment
  • Extensive experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for enterprise systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business requirements into effective data models and data architecture solutions
  • Able to architect for serverless data platforms
  • Experience with Data pipeline and API-based interfaces
  • Knowledge of migrating from traditional to Event-based data architectures
  • Aware of Data virtualization techniques on Cloud
