Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Offshore Wind team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for offshore wind projects. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth of our Offshore Wind business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for offshore wind projects, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical engineering, including knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow our Offshore Wind business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on offshore wind projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Expert knowledge of industry codes and standards, including NEC, NESC, IEEE, and IEC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
