Land Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join our team at Electricenergyonline. As a key member of our project development team, you will be responsible for managing land campaigns and landowner negotiations to ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land acquisition principles, including real property conveyances, title, and encumbrances. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that all necessary agreements are in place to meet project deadlines.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing relationships with external land agents and budgets to ensure agreements are in place
- Working with the development team to ensure all parcels are leased or acquired for successful buildout
- Acquiring easements for transmission/distribution/generation ties
- Communicating with project team members to ensure layouts are understood and site control is proceeding as needed
- Ensuring land contracts support the economics and schedule of the projects
- Providing accurate and up-to-date land acquisition status to internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing and managing land acquisition budgets
Requirements include:
- 5+ years' experience acquiring real property or land leases in the energy industry
- Experience with Google Earth and other GIS software tools
- Ability to work effectively with accounting systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
