**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mountain Bike Mechanic to join our team at Sun Peaks Resort. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of bicycles for customers, staff, and resort guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of mountain bikes, including suspension, hydraulic brakes, drivetrains, and wheel building.
  • Maintain accurate service records for rental bikes and customer work orders.
  • Ensure all operational and safety procedures are being followed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum two years of experience working on mountain bikes, including servicing suspension, hydraulic brakes, drivetrains, headsets, bottom brackets, and wheel building.
  • Detailed understanding of mountain bike set-up, parts, tools, service techniques, and part compatibility.
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
