Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Pro-Formance Intermodel Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles
    • Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
    • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and colleagues
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. The successful candidate will be required to work in a remote location and may be required to travel cross-border.
