Join Our Team as a Dedicated Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team of home support workers in Chilliwack. As a dedicated caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to elderly clients in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

About the Job

This is a part-time opportunity that requires flexibility and reliability. You will work closely with our clients, building strong relationships and providing personalized care tailored to their unique needs. If you have a genuine interest in improving the quality of life of others and enjoy working independently or as part of a team, this may be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences
  • Cleaning and organizing living spaces
  • Accompanying clients on outings and errands
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; home support worker certification an asset
  • Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
