Caledonia Clover Farm is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for planning and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your expertise will also be essential in determining food portion sizes and costs, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
