Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Waste Management Specialist to join our team at TRIMAX. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recyclables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ride on the back of waste and recycling trucks to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling from residential curbside bins or bags.
  • Empty residential curbside bins or bags into the trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Follow established procedures for collecting and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of general labor experience, preferably in a waste management or environmental services setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Wear steel-toed work boots and personal protective equipment as required.
