Concrete Finishing Assistant

Sabre Concrete Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team. As a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons in various construction projects. Your duties will include loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and level earth to fine grade specifications. Additionally, you will clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
