The Opportunity:

Olds College is seeking a Bus Driver to join our team on a call-in basis to drive the College's 18, 27 and 33 passenger buses on various trips within Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive college buses safely and efficiently
• Ensure students' safety during transportation
• Meet with the College's mechanic and safety officer for orientation prior to being assigned driving duties

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1, Class 2, or Class 4 driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract
• Preferred: certification of training in Hours of Service, Daily Pre-Trip Inspection, Cargo Securement, and Weights and Dimensions

Rates of Pay:

• Hourly Driving Rate: $18.23 per hour
• Hourly Waiting Time Rate: $15.18 per hour
• Minimum Daily Rate (2 hours driving plus 1 hour waiting): $51.64
• Daily Rate (for all-day trips such as sports events): $182.25
