We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Worker to join our team at Regina Eastview Daycare Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre. This includes developing and implementing child-care programs, supervising staff and trainees, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Assist with daily routines, including bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) or higher certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
